A Practical, Empowering Approach to Recovery
Struggling with addiction or harmful habits can feel overwhelming, but meaningful change is possible—with the right tools and support.
A Chance to Change is offering SMART Recovery, a science‑based support group designed for individuals who want to address addiction or unhealthy behaviors and build a more balanced life. Grounded in cognitive and motivational psychology and addiction research, SMART Recovery emphasizes self‑reliance, resilience, and empowerment. Participants learn practical strategies to change behaviors related to substance use, relationships, spending, gambling, eating and exercise disorders, and self‑injury.
SMART Recovery supports personal choice and does not require a lifetime commitment—you decide what works best for your recovery journey. Participation can also complement other recovery supports, including 12‑step or community programs.
